Chinese Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) producer - SK Zhenbang is operating its plant at reduced capacity rates.
“Stock levels have risen due to the Chinese New Year holidays, so the plant is currently operating at 90% capacity rates,” a company official informed fibre2fashion
“However, we will run the plant at full capacity very soon,” he added.
When quizzed on any imminent turnarounds, he said, “We have not planned any maintenance turnarounds in the current year.”
The PET plant situated in Cixi city, Zhejiang province has a production capacity of 144,000 tons per year.
